What’s up到底是什麼意思?

首先,What’s up的起源是來自於 “What’s the update?”

What’s up? =What’s happening? =What’s new?

此時你可以回答 “Not much”, “Nothing”, “Nothing new” , “Same old“”, “Alright” 等,表示「沒事」、「沒什麼事發生」、「一切都好」、「沒什麼問題」。

Example:

A : “What’s up man?”

B : Not much.

What’s up? What’s the matter?”

Example:

A notices B with their head in their hands at their desk

A: “What’s up?”

B: “Nothing, just tired.”
